Is Lack of Coenzyme Q10
Dragging You Down?

Statin Drugs can rob you of Coenzyme Q10 (Co Q10)!
If you are taking Lipitor, Crestor or generic statin drugs to lower your cholesterol you should not be without CoQ10.

Contrary to the persuasive advertising of the pharmaceutical giants, Lipitor, Crestor, Vytorin and their generic counterparts have been proven to have serious negative effects on the human body.

And they haven’t been shown to help you live one day longer.

Dr. Duane Graveline, MD, a former NASA astronaut who was one of the scientists selected for the Apollo space program, relates his story of how Lipitor was the source of his transient global amnesia (TGA).

“I soon realized the adverse reactions involved far more than impaired cognition, including personality change, myopathy, neuropathy and a chronic neuromuscular degeneration similar to ALS, and all statins were contributing to these adverse reactions, not just Lipitor.”

Dr. Beatrice Golomb, Assistant Professor and her associates at the University Of California San Diego School Of Medicine have collected thousands of stories from patients describing the side effects from statin drugs. Following is a summary of their studies:

Lipitor and other statin drug side effects include:

· Changes in liver function.

· Muscle pain and/or myopathy.

· Memory and Concentration loss.

· Depression and Irritability.

· Higher rates of death from suicide and accidents.

· Headaches, Joint and Abdominal Pain.

· Peripheral Neuropathy.

· Sleep problems, sexual function problems, fatigue, dizziness and a sense of detachment

Many of these side effects are caused by shortage of CoQ10. Statin drugs dramatically lower levels of coenzyme Q10 in the body!

Other drugs, such as beta blockers and some antidepressants, also interfere with Coenzyme Q10.

If you are taking Lipitor, Crestor or Vytorin you should be taking the The new form of CoQ10 - called Accel. It is 800%  stronger, and stays in your bloodstream almost 4 times longer than regular CoQ10.

Taking cholesterol-lowering drugs can literally "kill" CoQ10 synthesis.

"Coenzyme-Q10, commonly known as CoQ10, is energy on call." So says, Dr. Stephen Sinatra, a board certified cardiologist who integrates conventional medicine with nutrition at his New England Heart and Longevity Center. Sinatra continues,

"I have long considered CoQ10 a wonder nutrient because of its ability to support heart health."

Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is one of the most potent antioxidants known. It provides the "energizing spark" that enables the heart muscle to pump blood more efficiently, and it's a great scavenger of free radicals.

More than 100 clinical studies at major universities and hospitals have documented the actions of Coenzyme Q10.

CoQ10 has value in combating various forms of cardiovascular disease, reducing the number and size of some tumors and treating gum disease. In fact, according to Nutrition News, it has extended the life span of laboratory animals up to 56%.

What is Coenzyme Q10?
In the book All About Coenzyme Q-10, author Ray Sahelian, M.D., reports that CoQ-10 was discovered in 1957 by Frederick Crane, Ph.D., working at the University of Wisconsin.

The following year, says Sahelian, Karl Folkers, Ph.D., and coworkers at Merck, Sharpe and Dome synthesized the orange molecule in the laboratory.

In the early 1970s, there were discoveries that people with gum disease and heart disease were deficient in CoQ-10. The momentum began to build and, by the early 1980's, Coenzyme Q-10 had reached a level of consumption in Japan that rivaled that country’s five top medications.

Coenzyme Q10 And The Heart
The heart is one of the few organs in the body to function continuously without resting; therefore, the heart muscle requires the highest level of energetic support. And any condition that cause a decrease in CoQ10 could impair the energetic capacity of the heart, thus leaving the tissues more susceptible to free radical attack.

Since free radical stress is more pronounced in advancing stages of heart failure, the heart becomes even more vulnerable in these situations. Higher doses of CoQ10 will be required in cases of severe heart failure.

CoQ10 and the immune system
Coenzyme is a powerful antioxidant that energizes the cells that produce antibodies which identify and fight harmful foreign invaders. It's like a a cellular wake-up call to your natural disease-fighters!

Dietary sources of CoQ10
The relatively small amounts of CoQ10 in the diet come mainly from beef heart, pork, chicken livers and fish (especially salmon, mackerel and sardines). Other good food sources are peanuts and broccoli.

The average person only gets 2 - 5 mg CoQ10 each day from diet alone, far below the amount needed for optimum health. Aging, illness and statin drugs deplete the body's stores even further.

Bio-availability is the key.
No supplement will help you if your body can't use it effectively. CoQ10 is a notoriously bulky nutrient that's quite hard to absorb and therefore the type of supplement you choose can make all the difference.

I've spent hundreds of hours sifting through clinical research for the latest information we need to know to keep our hearts as strong and vital as our Creator designed them to be.

I'd like to introduce you to Dr. Al Sears, MD.
Dr. Sears graduated from the University of South Florida, College of Medicine with honors in Internal Medicine, Neurology, Psychiatry and Physical Medicine.

Dr. Al is Board Certified in Anti-Aging Medicine a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine

He also has been a lifelong advocate of nutritional supplementation and exercise programs. He is an ACE certified fitness trainer, has a thriving practice in Florida and has written thirteen books on health and nutrition. Here's an announcement from Dr. Al about an exceptional new form of Coenzyme Q10 that is eight times more powerful than normal formulations!

"I want to tell you about a meeting I had with the most respected CoQ10 researcher in the world. Dr. Mae from Japan stopped by my offices to talk to me about his latest breakthrough. It’s a new form of Coenzyme Q10 that’s 8 times more powerful than conventional formulations.

"Being 8 times more powerful doesn’t just mean that it’s 8 times better. The truth is more remarkable. This new form of CoQ10 will give you the opportunity to make gains on a scale that defies comparison.

"Conventional CoQ10 works wonders, but the problem I’ve had is keeping my patients’ blood levels high enough. They often require high doses, and that sometimes means taking 4 to 6 capsules a day of at least 200 mg. That’s expensive…

"But this new form, which I call Accel, has the best coenzyme Q10 absorption rate, which lets me give a single 50 mg capsule to the patients who used to need half a dozen. And that’s just the beginning…

"The best thing is that a new study confirms our "secret" vitality booster...this space age pill can actually double your energy!"
